Musim pancaroba berkaitan erat dengan beberapa gangguan kesehatan seperti flu, batuk, pilek, demam, gangguan saluran napas, masuk angin, influenza, gangguan pencernaan seperti diare, dan tifus abdominalis.
Lalu apa pertahanan terbaik Anda? Cobalah untuk jaga diri dari masuk angin dengan sering mencuci tangan Anda, cukup istirahat, minum banyak cairan, dan tetap aktif. 3. Tuna

10 Minuman Berbahaya Untuk Tubuh


1. Gatorade
 
Gatorade adalah minuman yang mengembalikan kesegaran tubuh dengan vitamin dan mineral yang berbeda, termasuk vitamin fat-soluble yang sifatnya seperti vitamin.Vitamin yang larut dalam lemak (Fat-soluble) tidak dapat dikeluarkan dari tubuh ketika diminum dalam jumlah besar. Efek sampingnya disebut vitamin beracun (hypervitaminosis A).

Seorang Kakek Dipenjara 20 Tahun Karena Hina Ratu Thailand

Seorang kakek berusia 61 tahun dijatuhi hukuman penjara selama 20 tahun pada hari Rabu (23/11) kemarin di pengadilan pidana Thailand karena dianggap mengirim pesan singkat yang menghina ratu di negeri tersebut.
Kakek yang bernama Amphon Tanuppaku tersebut dinyatakan bersalah dalam 4 pasal yang berbeda dengan hukuman masing-masing 5 tahun penjara.
Pengadilan menyebutkan bahwa Amphone Tanuppaku bersalah karena telah mengirimkan pesan singkat berisi hinaan untuk ratu Thailand kepada sekretaris pribadinya di tahun 2010 lalu.
Sementara itu, Amphone Tanuppaku menyangkal tuduhan tersebut dan menyatakan bahwa dirinya tidak biasa menggunakan ponsel serta tidak mengetahui kepada siapa pesan singkat itu dikirim.
Terkait hal tersebut, Amnesti Internasional menyampaikan kecamannya dan menyatakan bahwa telah terjadi penindasan bagi kebebasan menyampaikan pendapat di Thailand.
Kini, Amphone harus meninggalkan istri, menantu, dan tiga cucunya di sebuah kamar sewaan yang terletak di pinggiran kota Bangkok.

Penyiar Berita Rusia Acungkan Jari Tengah Untuk Obama

Heboh! Penyiar Berita Rusia Acungkan Jari Tengah Untuk Obamaeorang penyiar berita di sebuah stasiun televisi Rusia kedapatan mengacungkan jari tengahnya ketika menyebut kata "Presiden Barack Obama." Aksinya ini disiarkan secara langsung, disaksikan ratusan juta rakyat Rusia.

Dilansir dari Daily Mail, Rabu (24/11), aksi ini dilakukan oleh Tatyana Limanova, seorang jurnalis peraih penghargaan yang bekerja di stasiun televisi swasta REN TV. Kala itu dia sedang membaca segmen mengenai konferensi Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) di Hawaii.

Tatyana membacakan berita soal kepemimpinan Rusia pada APEC 2012 di mana Presiden Rusia, Dmitry Medvedev, menjadi ketuanya.

Namun, ketika membacakan bahwa ketua sebelumnya dijabat Presiden AS Barack Obama, Tatyana terlihat mengangkat tangan kiri sembari mengacungkan jari tengahnya.

Dalam kebudayaan Barat, pengacungan jari tengah dianggap sebuah bentuk hinaan. Biasanya, jari tengah diacungkan oleh yang marah, sambil mengucapkan kata-kata kasar. REN TV menolak berkomentar soal tindakan penyiarnya tersebut.

Aksinya ini dilakukan sepersekian detik sebelum layar berganti ke tayangan APEC. Mungkin, Tatyana mengira tindakannya tidak terekam kamera dan terpotong oleh gambar lain. REN TV dikenal sebagai satu dari sedikit stasiun televisi liberal di Rusia. Kebanyakan stasiun televisi dikendalikan oleh pemerintah.

Untuk aksinya tersebut, Tatyana tidak akan mendapatkan hukuman apapun dari stasiun televisi. Diduga, aksinya ini dilakukan karena jengah dengan sikap AS dalam hubungannya dengan Rusia.

AS sebelumnya mengatakan tidak akan memberikan informasi apapun terkait militer mereka di Eropa. Hal ini dilakukan AS karena Rusia selama empat tahun juga melakukan hal yang sama.

Makan Terlalu Cepat Ternyata Bikin Anda Gemuk


Percayakah anda jika makan terlalu cepat menyebabkan kegemukan? Temuan penelitian di Selandia Baru mengatakan demikian. Dalam studi terbaru yang dipublikasikan dalam Journal of American Dietetic Association, para peneliti menemukan bahwa wanita berusia 40-50 yang makan cepat lebih cenderung menjadi gemuk daripada yang makan lambat.
Bahkan, menurut penelitian di Jepang sebelumnya, makan cepat bisa menyebabkan dua kali lipat resiko kelebihan berat badan. Universitas Osaka memantau kebiasaan makan dari 3.000 orang. Mereka menemukan kesimpulan 84 persen laki-laki yang makan cepat, lebih mungkin untuk mengalami kegemukan.
“Makan terlalu cepat membuat otak kita tidak menyadari bahwa perut sudah penuh,”kata  profesor fisiologi metabolik di Universitas Nottingham, Ian McDonald.
Pada saat yang sama, hormon ghrelin yang memberi sinyal ketika perut merasa lapar menurun. “Diperlukan waktu selama 20 menit setelah anda mulai makan, sampai pesan untuk berhenti sampai ke otak. Sederhananya, makan terlalu cepat, dan Anda cenderung memenuhi perut dengan makanan berlebih,” kata McDonald.
Konsultan pencernaan di Klinik London dan Rumah Sakit St Mark di London, David Forecas mengatakan makan terlalu cepat juga meneyebabkan perut kembung. “Banyak udara yang tertelan sehingga perut menjadi tidak nyaman,”kata dia. Menurutnya, orang rata-rata membutuhkan waktu minimal 20 menit untuk makan.

Smartphone memang saat ini sedang berada di puncak jenis handphone yang paling laku dipasaran. Banyaknya masyarakat yang menggilai smartphone lantaran handphone jenis ini memiliki kemampuan teknologi yang sangat canggih dan mutakhir. Disamping teknologinya tersebut, smartphone digilai lantaran penggunaannya yang mudah dan bisa sangat lancar berinteraksi dengan internet. Pesatnya pembelian atas model handphone jenis smartphone di dunia memang membuat para produsen elektronik berbondong-bondong menelurkan smartphone buatan mereka.

Jenis smartphone Blackberry, Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericson, dll merupakan produsen-produsen smartphone yang terlaris di Indonesia bahkan di dunia. Rumor itu berlanjut  ketika AllThingsD mengatakan Facebook telah belajar dan bekerja sama dengan HTC untuk membuat smartphone baru. Smartphone ini kabarnya akan diberi kode nama “BUFFY”,  perangkat ini akan menjalankan versi modifikasi dari Android, dan  yang  jelas akan menempatkan fitur utama Facebook tepat di bagian depan dari smartphone yang diberi nama  BUFFY. Kedua perusahaan juga bekerja untuk menambah dukungan sehingga pengembang dapat menulis aplikasi HTML5 untuk smartphone ini. "Strategi mobile kami adalah sederhana, kami pikir setiap perangkat mobile lebih baik jika menggunakan fitur langsung yang terhubung dengan jejaring social," kata seorang juru bicara Facebook AllThingsD.


"Kami bekerja di industri ponsel secara keseluruhan, dengan operator, produsen perangkat keras, penyedia OS, dan pengembangkan aplikasi untuk membawa pengalaman sosial yang kuat kepada lebih banyak orang di seluruh dunia". Facebook  telah berulang kali membantah kepentingan dalam menciptakan perangkat sendiri dengan menggunakan merek mereka, tapi dengan mengutip pernyataan dari juru bicara Facebook, tampaknya bisa saja realisasi smartphone facebook benar-benar terjadi. Well.. kita liat aja nih gimana teknologi dan asiknya bermain dengan smartphone karya Facebook dan HTC ini. Mungkin kita akan bisa berfacebook ria dengan gratis atau mendapatkan aplikasi facebook dengan mudah dan cepat.

Aneh, Gurita Ini Keluar dari Air dan Berjalan di Tanah (Video)


Gurita dikenal sebagai mahluk yang sangat pemalu, dan inilah yang membuat para ilmuwan hanya sedikit mengetahui prilaku hewan dengan delapan tentakel ini di alam liar.
Namun, seekor gurita merah Pasifik Timur di luar San Fransisco, California, terlihat cukup ramah saat keluar dari air dan berjalan-jalan di tanah, yang membuat para penonton takjub dan merekam seluruh kejadian ini dalam video.

CLASH OF CIVILISATIONS: Walking down a main street in Addis, I met this young character. We started talking and soon became friends. One day, he invited me to his home to try some famous Ethiopian coffee, prepared traditionally. As I drank cup after cup of exquisite, freshly roasted coffee, this scene emerged in front of me. YUENGLING, 2011: This is the first photo that I took of my friend, Robert, when he got back from serving in Afghanistan for one year. He didn't talk much. We just sat together, and he showed me what he was feeling when I put my camera in front of him. He was humble. WEATHERED HANDS: The Kara women collect the water, cook for family, harvest the fields, make the clothing, and are the backbone of the tribe. This elderly woman was the only white-haired person I came in contact with. I tried desperately to get a pleasing portrait and caught her hands in my peripheries; the perfect symbol of the woman's role in tribal society in the Omo River Valley. Her bracelets are made from salvaged AK-47 shell casings, a symbol in itself for the cyclic theme of war and revenge between the Kara and the neighboring tribe, the Nyangatom. SALOME RAMOS: Salome Ramos is 64 years old and lives in Quibdo, a town with a 95 percent Black population derived from African slaves imported to Pacific coast of Colombia by the conquistadors. She is presently out of work, but her previous Jobs include everything from maid to miner. The economics of Quibdo are almost entirely supported by the wages of mining or fishing and the towns atmosphere has a raw vibrance, I felt like an alien as everyone stared at me- in a curious rather than un-welcoming way. PRAYING ON THE LAND OF BLACK JERUSALEM - I: Black Jerusalem is the name given to Lalibela, the ancient capital of Abyssinia and monastic city of northern Ethiopian mountains. Its 11 rocky churches hidden in the volcanic rock are still venerated as the Mecca of the Ethiopian Coptic Christianity. LIGHT'S TRYST WITH DARKNESS IN SEMI-URBAN INDIA: Image shot at 11:45pm, where a windstorm caused complete blackout on a newly constructed bridge in Lucknow,India. The pic is taken in a newly urbanized area, however cheaper modes of transport-autorickshaws and 2 wheelers still rule the streets at any hour. The pic shows various contrasting features - Some folks sitting, some walking, some driving without lights (autorickshaw), some navigating with 'high beam lights' to also give the missing illumination of installed street lights. NATURAL LANDSCAPE PAINTING: The Landmannalaugar is probably one of the most impressive place in Iceland, a popular tourist destination. Located near the volcano Hekla in southern section of Iceland's highlands. The area displays a number of unusual geological elements, like the multicolored rhyolite mountains. When I took this picture, it was raining and it became worse after.
